Bingo
We are currently instructed on over 20 bingo club rent reviews including the 2007 review on this Glasgow Mecca Club for Landlords, REIT. We are also advising on acquisitions in the sector.
Health
We are currently acting on a number of rent reviews in the health club sector, including the review on this Cannons Club in Wimbledon (shown)
Cinema
Advice has been provided in the cinema sector for a range of properties including negotiating the rent review on the Cineworld multiplex in Glasgow - Europe's largest (12 Floors). A number of rent reviews are currently being handled across the country. For Invista, we recently progressed the review on the Cardiff Cineworld through Arbitration. We advised the purchasers of the Odeon West End in London's Leicester Square.
Golf
Our golf experience dates from the late 1980s golf boom and we pride ourselves on maintaining a first class database on sales and rents in the sector. Advice has recently been provided on rent reviews to a number of golf clubs including The Richmond Golf Club and Swinley Forest Golf Club (shown) and we are providing advice to Sunningdale Golf Club and Royal Blackheath Golf Club.
Nightclubs
Experience in the late night venue sector extends across late night bars, nightclubs and lap dancing clubs. Peter Gwilliam was prvately appointed as third party on the Spearmint Rhino and Stringfellows rent review disputes. We have an involvement in the bar/restaurant sector.
Tenpin
Advice in this sector has largely been to property owners on rent review and lease renewals. We are currently acting on the review on the Hollywood Bowl, Hull for Canada Life.
Sports Grounds
In the area of outdoor leisure we are involved in providing rent review and agency advice on sports grounds and tennis clubs. In an agency and consulting role we are offering an opportunity to develop a significant part of a London park for sporting uses.
Leisure Parks
Advice has been provided to purchasers of a number of major leisure investments. We advised REIT Asset Management on the purchase of Star City. Birmingham and continue to provide asset management advice. We also advised Norwich Property Trust on the purchases of Omni, Edinburgh and Broadway Plaza, Birmingham and acted as joint agent for Invista in the purchase of the Luton Galaxy Centre.
Restaurant & Bar
We advise on restaurant and bar rents and reviews largely where they form part of leisure parks. We are currently advising on a number of such reviews including on this Pizza Hut in Coventry for Morley Fund Management.
