HomeWhat we doClientsNewsContact Us

The common link between most types of the leisure properties we deal with is that value is related to trading potential.  The varying operating characteristics and trading patterns requires detailed knowledge of the market sectors.

We pride ourselves on maintaining and improving our research facilities and database and combine this knowledge with technical expertise.

This knowledge is supplemented by regular contact with operators, developers and property owners.

    We handle:

Rent Reviews and Lease Renewals

Acting for Landlords and Tenants this is an increasingly complex area of our work.  We maintain a close watch on emerging case law and Peter’s experience as an Arbitrator and Independent Expert is valuable in preparing submissions on behalf of Clients.  Peter is consulted by owners/developers/prospective purchasers on rent review provisions which can have a significant impact on values.

Valuations

Independent valuations are prepared for a variety of purposes.  The highly specialised nature of the leisure property sector requires careful and up to date analysis of comparable transactions, coupled with a close knowledge of the market place and understanding of accounts, trends and volatility.

Expert Evidence

Peter Gwilliam has extensive experience of preparing and giving evidence for court hearings and planning inquiries, drawing upon in depth experience of leisure markets.  Evidence is given in accordance with the RICS Practice Statement.

Sales and Acquisitions

Close contact is maintained with the market place and discreet and confidential transactions can be engineered.  Alternatively, we can plan widened marketing campaigns and/or work with larger agencies and add specialist input.
